Jazz up your Simplify 3D work area with the MK2 bed model.
Easy to install to achieve this look within S3D.

Prusa_Bed

From the menu go to tools / Options

tools_options

Open the Machine tab and browse your computer for the model to use.

browse

To make this setting stick so it will be available each time you launch S3D do the following
Go to: C:\Users\**USERNAME**\AppData\Local\Simplify3D\S3D-Software

Find the two lines:

<overridePrinterModels>0</overridePrinterModels>
<printerModelsOverride></printerModelsOverride>

Change those to:

<overridePrinterModels>1</overridePrinterModels>
<printerModelsOverride>myPrintModel.stl</printerModelsOverride>

Where myPrintModel.stl would be the name of your file.

Then save it, and go to File-->Import FFF Profile.

On a Mac the file is located here on the Mac version: /Users//Library/Application Support/Simplify3D. Or just use Finder -> Go -> Go to Folder and enter ~/Library/Application Support/Simplify3D.

Windows users watch video to find location

That’s it. You can now sport the MK2 Bed within your work area of Simplify 3D.

A similar thing can be done in Slic3r however the representation is not a 3D Object.
